This update expands your creative toolkit with six new video textures: OVERSCAN, NOISE II, BANDING, ROUNDED II, JITTER II, and INTERLACE II - each designed to bring more analog character and depth to your footage. Whether you're after subtle grain or a more distinct, worn-in look, these textures give you finer control over the mood of your motion work.

As always, this update also includes bug fixes and performance improvements to keep your editing experience smooth and stable.

Our biggest texture update yet: 29 new textures for photos, added across all categories including new favourites like Proof I & II, Artex, Dust III and Streak – to help you build more filmic surfaces, atmosphere and a clearer visual voice.

In this version we have also released a new crop tool for video, for tighter and more intentional framing. And we’ve also removed the gallery image limit, made several UI improvements, and fixed bugs reported by users.

Bring your moving images into the same creative lab you use for your photos and give every frame that Labbet specific film‑inspired look.

• New video editing with a set of unique Edits designed for motion
• All‑new video effects, textures, and overlays for tactile, analog‑minded visuals
• Keep your visual voice consistent across photos and videos, straight from your camera roll to your final cut

At the end of the day, it is the same Labbet feeling – just in motion.

This update also includes several new settings options, two new vintage photo effects (Halation and Shoulder), plus a round of UI/UX improvements for a smoother editing flow.

This update makes your favorite tools feel more film‑real and streamlined.

- Grain now has color, and the pattern shifts as you add more – more grain, new character.
- New 2:3 crop format, the classic film negative ratio.
- New Link edits category for cleaner edit organization.
- Date text styles can now auto‑insert today’s date or the capture date with a tap.

We’ve made the Text tool even better with UX/UI improvements for a smoother editing experience. This update also introduces 12 brand new fonts: Melt, Shift, Saint, Rush, Foundry, Serif, Grid, Block, Bold, Trace, Draft, and Sans. You can now update an existing edit with new settings, making it easier to refine your work without starting over. Plus, we’ve included bug fixes and general improvements throughout the app.

Our new Text Tool gives you more freedom to create with intention. Place text exactly where you want it, snap with precision, rotate, resize, and layer multiple texts with ease - all in a classic “Labbet workflow” designed to feel intuitive, fast, and expressive.

This update is all about refining the details that shape your editing experience. We’ve reworked the zoom functionality in Edit mode to feel smoother, more responsive, and more precise—so you can focus on the nuances that matter. We’re also introducing a notifications feature giving you access to exclusive Edits ready to be used instantly. On top of that, we’ve polished a long list of small improvements and fixes to keep everything running quietly and reliably in the background.

This new update is designed to elevate your creative workflow with four new minimal, film-inspired Edges and the arrival of Dark Mode. The new Edges add subtle texture and analog character, giving your photos a more intentional and distinctive aesthetic. Dark Mode introduces a focused and a better editing experience overall as a dark background helps you see colors and details more accurately with fewer distractions. This update continues our mission to give creators more control, expression, and room to shape their own visual voice — with more improvements already on the way.

Every texture collection just got bigger. More grain, more edge, more room to play. From bold digital looks to fine paper tones and archival textures plus beautiful new Edges inspired by classic film borders — each one crafted to give your photos new layers of story and style.

In this version we’ve also redesigned and optimized the preset section — now called Edits — to make exploring and applying looks faster and more intuitive than ever.

Edges — a texture collection inspired by the craft of the darkroom. Back when photos were developed by hand, prints often carried subtle marks: worn borders, soft frames, and imperfect insets that gave each image a unique character.

With our Labbet unique Edges, we’ve reimagined that analog charm for the digital age. From bold retro borders to minimalistic insets with no frames at all, you can choose how much of that timeless lab aesthetic you want to bring into your edits.

Introducing our most requested feature – Motion Blur masking. Add dynamic movement to your photos and decide exactly where the blur appears. Do it with artistic intent or to bring your still image alive with motion, not matter what this tool gives you full artistic control.

We’ve added a brand new Vignette Effect tool to help you give your photos an even more authentic vintage feel. Soften the edges, draw focus to your subject, and bring out that timeless look you love. We’ve also made a few small improvements under the hood to keep things running smoothly.

You can now share your edits with friends and followers using a simple link. Whether it’s a full preset or just a one-off look, Labbet Link makes it easy to pass on your editing style — one tap, endless inspiration. As always, we’ve also made small improvements and fixed a few bugs to keep things running smoothly.

Adding text to your photos just got a whole lot easier—and more creative. Our upgraded Text Tool comes with 8 unique styles, multiple positioning options, and a carefully selected range of colors to help you tell your story in your own way. Whether you’re adding a bold title or a subtle note, the new Text Tool is designed to fit your vibe. Minimal & Editorial: Timeless and clean for any photo. Analog, Mono & LCD: Perfect for digital date stamps. Letter & Kid: Add a warm, handwritten touch.

Introducing ARCHIVE textures — our newest texture overlay collection designed to give your photos an aged, timeworn look. Featuring a curated set of overlays with authentic scratches, dust, and film-inspired wear, Archive adds a nostalgic depth that feels pulled from the past. Perfect for creatives looking to bring a vintage edge or cinematic mood to their edits. Update now to explore the full collection and start layering on history.

This update is all about giving you even more creative control over your images—because details matter. Introducing Color Tone – A powerful new tool for refining mood and atmosphere with subtle or dramatic color grading. We’ve also perfected the glow effect in this version to be softer and more organic, adding depth without overpowering your image. Low-Res gives your digital photos a more authentic, film-inspired texture that replicates true vintage digital imperfections for a raw, aesthetic look. Update now and take your edits further.

We are excited to introduce a bunch of new presets to you – based on some of the most classic films in history. Timeless and allround, and for you to apply with one simple click! Try them out today. We have also added something we call “Effect guides” which is information/inspiration on how you could use our Effects. As always we have found smaller improvements around user experience and that is also fixed in this version.
